Youth Counselling (NHS trained for ages 12-25 yrs) with enhanced DBS.

I accept counselling referrals from private individuals, GP's based in Woking and other local areas and Employee Assistance Providers (EAPs). I can offer you a choice of both short or long-term work and if you are a private client, you will not be expected to sign up for a fixed number of sessions.

*EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) involves recreating the rapid eye movements that occur in dream sleep, whilst you are fully awake. This can help the brain facilitate the reprocessing of traumatic memories involved in PTSD, but it can also help to reprocess more minor traumas involved in producing low-self esteem, loss of confidence, negative self-believe and unresolved grief.

**EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). This is sometimes described as "acupuncture without the needles". However, in EFT this is confined to the 13 main meridian points in the face and upper body. You will be shown how to deliver a sequence of tapping movements, which it is believed may help release the negative energy that may be locked into the subtle energy system as a result of a negative experience or emotional response.
